Ripple Effect Student Ministry
Youth Pastor: Pastor D

Our Mission

To equip students to make “waves” in their culture!

So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.” Romans 12:1-2 (The Message)

It is the desire of our ministry to equip students with the tools to help them not blend with their culture, but rather stand out from the world.

There are many ways that we engage our students in this process.

On Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. students (Grades 6th-12th) meet in the youth room for prayer and announcements.

The youth room is located on the second floor of the Family Life Center.

Lydia Brown leads the Sunday school class (6th-12th).

Pastor D substitutes when needed.

Sally Bates leads college students. They meet on the second floor of the Family Life Center.

Wednesday Nights, all students from 6th through 12th meet in the youth room for Bible study and fellowship with Pastor D and Pastor Chuck.
